Kenyon Fields here. I play bagpipes in spokane. I played back when you had the national competition. I would be happy to play for any function. I am not asking for any payment. Call at 509 844 6161 or email. Thanks.

Are you still offering curling lessons? If so, when?

    • Matt Almon

Linda, unfortunately we did not get any ice time for a learn to curl this winter or spring. Here is the information about our spring season.

      🥌 Spring League — March 12 to April 30
Season runs: Thursdays, March 12 through April 30
      Draw times:
With 8 teams or fewer: all games from 6:45–8:45 PM
With more than 8 teams: some games from 8:45–10:45 PM, with occasional doubleheaders and possible bye weeks
Goal: every team plays 8 total matches
We currently have six teams that expressed interest in the December survey—an awesome start! I’m looking forward to getting even more curlers out on the ice and involved with the club.
      Registration & Cost
Please register using the Google Form link (https://forms.gle/usKvzio1LtUVwziQ8) so everyone can acknowledge the participation and release of liability form.
(Even if you filled out the earlier interest survey, please complete this form to secure your spot.)
Cost: $500 per team, plus $50 annual membership per individual
      Team of 4: $125 each + $50 membership
      Team of 3: $167 each + $50 membership
Don’t have a team or just want to sub? There’s a spot for that on the form.
Payment: All fees will be collected on March 12 before play begins. If another safe payment method becomes available, I’ll notify those who are registered.

my husband and I are very inteetested in the learning sessions. is there anything we can do to assist with trying to acquire ice time.
Maybe some daytime sessions for us non-working folks?

    • Matt Almon

Kym, I would love to say this would be an option but the ice arena we use in normally used throughout the day is just as hard to get ice time as the arena is attached to the CDA hockey academy and they have first rights to all ice time. Here is is their website with the ice schedule. https://www.frontiericearena.org/home

We tried everything we could to do to get ice time especially with it being an Olympic year. I would encourage you to check back in a few months and hopefully we are given some more time. You could also email info@inwcurling.com and I can add you to our emails about events when they pop up.
      Sorry Matt
