Hi – will there be any opportunities to learn how to curl before the spring league starts? I have a group who is interested but we never have. We don’t care if we are the worst team, just want a clue of what we are doing!
Elaine, thanks for reaching out. I totally understand wanting to have a learn to curl before the season starts. Unfortunately not having dedicated ice we are at the mercy of the arena, and they did not have any time slots available for us prior to our season. I can say from experience that our team did not know anything and just showed up day one and went with it. Everyone was great to work with and took the time to teach us the sport, give us tips and strategies and overall really helped us that first year. Even 3 seasons later we are still learning. Generally everyone is there to have a great time and be on the ice together. Below is our season information along with my contact information if you have any further questions.
